The Business Profile section in Cinqd allows you to manage all core information about your company, including general details, Companies House data, and configuration settings. This ensures that all teams work with accurate, centralised business data across the platform.
When a user signs in for the first time, Cinqd automatically routes them to the Profile Settings area. From there, they can navigate to:

Business Profile – Information Tab
Purpose
Store and manage your company’s essential details, such as business name, type, contact details, addresses, and branding.
Company Logo
At the top of the page, you’ll see your current company logo.
- Click Edit (top-right) to upload or replace your logo.
- This logo is used across proposals, documents, and client-facing areas.


General Information
This section contains your company’s foundational details:
- Business Name
- Company Type (Ltd, PLC, Partnership, Sole Trader, etc.)
- Company Registration Number (CRN)
- Number of Employees

All fields become editable once you click Edit.
Contact Information
This area stores your official business contact details:
- Country code
- Business phone number
- Business email
- Website URL
- Social media links (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)

These details are reused across communication, proposals, and client interactions.
Business Address
Enter or update your company’s operational address, including:
- Building Number
- Street
- City
- Postal Code
- Country

This address is used across proposals, invoices, and system-generated documents.
Billing Address
You may choose to use a separate billing address for accounting or invoicing purposes.
Fields include:
- Building Number
- Street
- City
- Postal Code
- Country

If identical to your business address, simply repeat the same details.
Companies House Tab

For UK-registered businesses, Cinqd automatically syncs data from Companies House, giving you live visibility into your official records.
This tab is read-only and updates automatically.
Overview

Displays verified company information such as:
- Registered office address
- Company status
- Company type
- Incorporation date
Accounts

Tracks statutory filing information, including:
- Next accounts due date
- Last accounts filed
- Filing deadlines
Confirmation Statement

Shows:
- Next confirmation statement due date
- Last statement filed
Nature of Business (SIC Codes)

Your official SIC classifications are pulled directly from Companies House and displayed here.
Filing History

Provides a full record of all filings submitted to Companies House.
For each filing you can:
- View PDF (original document)

Download PDF

Entries include:
- Confirmation statements
- Accounts
- Incorporation documents
- Address changes
This ensures compliance tracking is available directly inside Cinqd.
People
Shows all active company officers as recorded at Companies House.

Information displayed:
- Director Name
- Role / Status (Active)
- Date of Birth (month & year only)
- Appointment date
- Nationality
- Occupation
- Correspondence address
- Country of residence
This section auto-updates as Companies House changes occur.
Charges
Shows any registered financial charges (e.g., debentures, mortgages).

Data includes:
- Total registered charges
- Outstanding or satisfied charges
If no charges exist, Cinqd will show 0 registered.
Configurations Tab

The Configurations tab controls what clients see in their portal and how data is displayed internally across CRM and HR.
Client Portal Visibility Controls
Use these toggles to control client access and transparency:
- Enable Client Portal
Turns client portal access on or off

Show Work Progress with Customers
Allows clients to track task progress

- Share Task List
Lets clients view assigned or relevant tasks
- Share Assignees
Shows which internal team members are working on tasks.
- Share Start & Due Dates
Controls visibility of timelines and milestones
- Share Statuses
Displays task or project statuses (e.g. Ready, Overdue, Completed)

These settings let you balance transparency with control.
Internal View Controls
Keep internal records clean and focused:
- Hide Empty Fields in CRM
Prevents unused custom fields from appearing in client or contact profiles.
- Hide Empty Fields in HR (Employee Profiles)
Keeps employee records tidy and relevant.

These options reduce visual clutter and improve usability for internal teams.
